Eye of the Storm

Michael OHara

Michael: The last few weeks were a bit of a whirlwind, with Paul and I both doing a bunch of interviews at various hours. To make it more chaotic, many of them had technical problems of various sorts. I had three interviews that were rescheduled or cancelled due to studio problems and my midnight interview with Barb Adams apparently did not air live for some reason, or at least not when it was supposed to. I had several people texting me while I was doing the interview saying that they were trying to find it online and couldn't. Including Paul. In any case, the interview is archived and there is a link on our media page here.

Although skeptics would scoff, technical issues are a common problem for those who do paranormal work. It's not something you could ever prove, but anyone who does the work or associates with those who do will tell you. Machines break down, communications get scrambled, messages get lost. I mean, I am so far batting .500 on interviews actually going through as planned. That doesn't seem like a very good record.

This week, we had a bit of a break. I am recording one tomorrow (a second attempt) but that is it for the week. A brief respite because next week the whirlwind starts up again and we have interviews and appearances planned through October.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed it but there is a weird seasonal phenomenon where around October every year people seem to become much more interested in the stuff we do all year long. I have never been able to figure out why.

In the meantime, we are enjoying this little break while looking forward to what's next. We are especially jazzed (as Bill would say) for the two hour interview next Friday/Saturday. Both of us together and a long enough time to really get into some interesting discussion. If I didn't have to be on skype for it, I would be doing it from the fireside.

Thanks to all for all the great feedback and support so far. This Fall should be a wild ride.
